Bear Cub Has Playful Antics With 'Chair Fort' in North Carolina Backyard

A man who regularly encounters black bears at his home in Asheville, North Carolina, was delighted recently, when an adorable cub made a “chair fort” out of some garden furniture.

Video by David Oppenheimer shows the cub “engrossed in playful antics with a deck chair and cushions,” Oppenheimer told Storyful.

While the youthful antics delighted Oppenheimer, he also noted the cub showed “a surprising sense of responsibility by diligently restoring [the chair] to its original position before returning to graze with his family.” Credit: David Oppenheimer via Storyful
