The Bear is weeks away from returning — at least in the US.

US streaming service Hulu and cable channel FX have unveiled a poster for the second season confirming it will be arriving on Thursday, June 22, 2023. All 10 episodes will be available to stream on Hulu.

According to Deadline, The Bear will be made available on Disney+ in the UK and Star+ at a later date to be announced in due course. Last year, the show debuted in the UK four months after its US premiere.

The critically-acclaimed comedy-drama series stars Shameless actor Jeremy Allen White as James Beard Award-winning chef Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto as he returns home to run his late brother's restaurant The Original Beef of Chicagoland.

Without giving away spoilers, the season second will pick up with Carmy, his apprentice Sydney Adamu (Big Mouth's Ayo Edebiri) and his troubled cousin Richie Jerimovich (The Punisher's Ebon Moss-Bachrach) trying to rebrand their legendary eatery.

Carmy is forced to strip the restaurant of some of its legendary elements, forcing him to confront his brother's death and other long-held family traumas.

The new season will also feature some very exciting guest stars, including Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty star Molly Gordon.

When the acclaimed series was renewed for a second season, producer Christopher Storer offered some hints on where the show could go in the future.

"It almost feels like season 1 was sort of, 'Let's catch up', and season 2 is sort of like where the show properly begins, once we've met everyone and seen their backstory," Storer said.

"So it's been cool to just expand the world and just learn more about [the characters]."

The Bear is available now on FX Networks and Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
