Beautiful gardens open to public for special event

The picturesque and peaceful surroundings of Lavender Manor in Ballinamallard were home to a special garden open day event recently.

The event which took place on June 15 seen the gardens welcome visitors as part of the National Open Garden Scheme.

Lavender Manor contains a well-maintained garden, accessed via a sweeping avenue with well-established trees and a beech hedge.

In front of the Manor there are many manicured topiaries and a lush wildlife pond surrounded by a tranquil white garden. To the rear a vibrant herbaceous border leads past a stream to the enchanting woodland garden.

Also included is a peaceful secluded courtyard as well as a vibrant fruit and vegetable garden.
