WE speak to Sharawan Bagoriya from The Leaking Well to find out what is so special about the business which is based on the A449 at Dunhampton, near Worcester, and has been under the present ownership for 15 months.

What does the business do/make/sell?

The Leaking well is a bed and breakfast with restaurant and bar.

We serve Indian, English and Nepalese food.

We do breakfast, lunch and dinner and also Sunday roasts.

What is your most memorable or proudest moment in business?

When people talk about us on social media about how they have enjoyed eating here and also the thank you cards that we get from people who have stayed in the bed and breakfast. It makes us all very proud.

Any strange requests or stories from customers?

A few months ago we had a couple staying with us, along with their dog, en route to Yorkshire from a holiday down south.

They stayed with us for three nights and left at about 11am on the Wednesday morning.

About 15 minutes after they left we received a call from the lady who was very worried as she realised that the dog wasn’t in the car.

A member of staff went up to the room they had stayed in and there he was asleep on the carpet by the side of the bed.

They were soon back to collect him and had a cup of complimentary tea to get over the shock!

Anything else we should know?
