Yahoo News Bella Thorne slams director who accused her of 'flirting with him' aged 10
The actor felt guilty for years for the incident that occurred when she was a kid
Bella Thorne has slammed a director who claims she "flirted" with him when she was just 10 years old.
The DUFF star appeared on Emily Ratajkowski's High Low podcast to discuss sexualisation of child actors in the industry, and shared experience with it.
During the chat, Thorne spoke about an audition in which an unnamed director accused her of attempting to make advances.
"I had a director give me feedback once and I was 10," she said. "The casting director calls my agent and my agent calls my mom and they’re like, 'So, she’s not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable."

The 25-year-old said: "I'm trying to find almost fault in myself. Like, ‘What did you do, Bella? What did you do? You made him feel like this.'"
However, the star has turned her feelings of guilt into anger at feeling like she was guilty in any way of the interaction.

“I don’t give a f**k what the f**k I said,” Thorne declared. “I don’t care if I said, ‘Eat my p***y right now.' Ten years old. Why ever would you think that?
She added that in a director session "there's no time to go sit on your lap or make them uncomfortable.”
Despite knowing the situation wasn't her fault, Thorne says she goes back to the incident "every day" trying to figure out what she did wrong.
She was supported by 31-year-old Ratajkowski, who told her bluntly she was "just a f***ing kid" and the guilt of the situation should lay with the director.

The podcast host added she hoped the director "rots in hell" for making her feel bad, and said: "If you need a more f**ked-up story of Hollywood and paedophilia and the sexualisation of children, I don’t think there is one."
Thorne, who first shot to fame alongside Zendaya on Disney Channel series Shake It Up, continues to act and model.
