Bella Thorne reveals sexual and physical abuse till age 14

Bella Thorne has opened up about the sexual and physical she suffered while growing up.

The 20-year-old actress revealed she had been molested as a child and that it was her earliest memory via a Instagram video where she tearfully thanked fans for their support.

Former Disney star Bella, wrote: ‘I was sexually abused and physically growing up from the day I can remember till I was 14..when I finally had the courage to lock my door at night and sit by it.

‘All damn night. Waiting for someone to take advantage of my life again.

‘Over and over I waited for it to stop and finally it did. But some of us aren’t as lucky to get out alive. Please today stand up for every soul Mistreated. #timesup’

Bella also told her fans: ‘On Twitter I’m reading about all the people sharing their sexual abuse stories with me, from mine, and I just wanna say, I’m really proud of all you guys. It’s such a… I’m really proud. Stay strong. Peace, I love you guys.

The Famous In Love star shared her experience in support of the Time’s Up campaign, following the outpouring of support for abused women at Sunday night’s Golden Globes.

Bella has previously mentioned abuse, although not really gone into detail.

Back in December a troll tweeted about the actress: ‘What did Disney do to this girl?! I think she was molested?’

A day later on December 8 she tweeted: ‘The world can be a sick place sometimes.’
