A couple are looking for their dog after she 'did a runner' out of a Cheltenham pub at the weekend and hasn't been seen since. Aria is a whippet Saluki cross and ran off from the Plough Inn in Prestbury on Saturday lunchtime (May 11).

There was a sighting of Aria in the Burgage on Sunday, but nothing since. Her owners are desperate to be reunited with their beloved pet.

She is described as very timid and her owners Jane and Mike Taylor, who live in Woodmancote, think she may have gone into hiding. They are preparing to spend another night outside the pub hoping she will show up.

Jane said Aria weighs around 17kg and is 'ever so timid'. She is originally from a dog pound and they've only had her for three months.

"Aria did a runner from the Plough Inn at lunchtime on Saturday. We don't know what spooked her and we are desperate to be reunited with her," said Jane.

"We had a drone out this morning but are looking to get a thermal one. Because she's timid, she's probably hiding under a hedge somewhere."

Aria was wearing the harness, collar and lead as seen in the picture at the top of this article. If anyone has seen Aria, please email tylj590@aol.com or call Mike Taylor on 07788 975856.
