Tommy Conway has been called up to the Scotland squad for Euro 2024 - but Ben Doak is OUT with injury. And it means Steve Clarke has just one more player to cut before the finals.

Steve Clarke had been facing a decision on whether to replace the injured Lyndon Dykes for the trip to Germany with U-21 star Conway the overwhelming favourite to step in if so. And it's now been announced that the Bristol City striker WILL join up with the squad ahead of Friday's match with Finland, before the flight out to Munich to face Germany a week later.

However it's not all exciting news as the SFA also confirmed that Liverpool winger Doak, who was a surprise call-up, has had to pull out. A statement reads: "Ahead of Friday's match against Finland, Steve Clarke has called Tommy Conway into his squad. Sadly, Ben Doak has been withdrawn from the Euro 2024 squad through injury. Ben – we know we'll see you entertaining crowds at Hampden in a Scotland shirt soon."

The news means that Clarke remains on 27 players with one more to be cut before the group is finalised for the tournament. It's expected one of the four goalkeepers - Angus Gunn, Craig Gordon, Zander Clark or Liam Kelly - will be the final player sacrificed.
