GMB's Ben and Kammy, who used to host Goals on Sunday together on Sky Sports, first met in 2010 at the World Cup. “We were sitting next to each other and we had a really good laugh,” Ben revealed to Troy Deeney in 2023.

“I started working with him [on Goals on Sunday] then and it has just been a joy and a laugh ever since. The scrapes he has got me into, the opportunities we have had. I have learned so much from him, not just from his experience of football and stuff, but about life and about grasping opportunities, being positive, laughing and sharing joy,” Ben continued.

In 2022, Kammy revealed he was dealing with speech apraxia and said: “It’s been hard, I’m doing everything in my power to try and get right." He told ITV News: “Part of my brain has got a bit of inflammation on it, so if we get that inflammation down, it possibly could get back to normal."

“[It] could be permanent for the rest of my life, but I am a lot better off than loads and loads of people,” Chris continued.
