Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2024 list includes 3 East Texas organizations

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Three East Texas organizations have been recognized on Modern Healthcare’s 2024 list of the Best Places to Work.

Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center to receive $15K grant

The list contains 150 healthcare companies and organizations, based on an assessment process that includes employee survey’s, Modern Healthcare’s website said.

“With all the economic uncertainty, staffing challenges, and folks wanting more flexible work setups, every company has to get clever about how they attract and hold onto talent,” President of Modern Healthcare Dan Peres said. “The winners of the 2024 Best Places to Work awards really get it. They show us how vital it is to understand what employees want and need right now. With healthcare shifting so much, finding the right people is a top priority, and the winners know that keeping their team happy is the key to business success.”

East Texas organizations recognized in the 2024 list of Best Places to Work in Healthcare are:

  • UT Health Quitman

  • HealthFirst TPA in Tyler

  • Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital in Tyler

According to a release, the East Texas organizations and 147 others will find out their ranking at the 2024 Best Places to Work in Healthcare Awards Gala on Oct. 10 in Nashville.
