Beyoncé Puts Glamorous Twist on Cowboy Core Fashion in LaPointe Cutout Dress and Crystallized Bolo Tie for New ‘Cowboy Carter’ Promo With Kelly Rowland
Beyoncé gave the cowboy core trend a glamorous twist on Wednesday in two posts she shared to Instagram.
In new photos, the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer poses in a custom LaPointe halter dress featuring a bodice cutout. Beyoncé added on a feathered jacket by the American label, as well as a pair of Loewe’s Rose 100 slingbacks, which feature faux flowers blossoming out of the heel. She completed her look with a custom crystallized bolo tie by A-Morir and a black cowboy hat, adding some country flair.

Stylist Shiona Turini dressed Beyoncé for the occasion. Turini, who also works as a costume designer, curated the singer’s wardrobe for her “Renaissance” tour in 2023.
She was joined by Kelly Rowland and her husband Jay-Z in the photo series, which was set to the song “Tyrant” featuring Dolly Parton.

Using products from Beyoncé’s new hair care line, Cécred, hairdresser Neal Farinah styled the singer’s blond tresses in curls, while makeup artist Rokael Lizama gave her brown eye shadow and a glossy nude lip.
Last month, Beyoncé was traveling in Japan alongside her husband. She blended Western dressing with sleek suiting, opting for a khaki Ferragamo suit and trenchcoat from the label’s spring 2023 line. The superstar songstress added on square-toe boots, a turquoise bolo tie and wool cowboy hat, completing her look with silver statement earrings by 8 Other Reasons and a brown patent leather clutch, which was custom-made by Ferragamo.
Beyoncé’s latest album, “Cowboy Carter,” marks her first full-length foray into country music.
“This album has been over five years in the making,” Beyoncé wrote on Instagram last month. “It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive.”
Beyoncé began incorporating Western wear into her wardrobe with the release of her 2022 album, “Renaissance.” In promotional images for her recent world tour, the pop star sported a mirrored cowboy hat akin to a disco ball. Meanwhile, at the 2024 Grammys, Beyoncé accessorized her Louis Vuitton skirt suit with a Stetson chapeau.
