Big Brother 2017: The real reason why Arthur Fulford quit

We were all left shocked earlier this week when Arthur Fulford quit Big Brother, with the Channel 5 reality show not giving a reason for his departure.

Arthur had been in the house for less than a week when he made the decision to walk away, and now he has opened up about the “bullying and isolation” that he endured in the house.

Speaking to former Big Brother housemate Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace for The Sun, 24-year-old Arthur explained: “It all became way too much. I felt bullied and isolated.

“But at the same time I didn’t want to allow myself to become a victim. I knew what I was doing the whole time, winding people up, but it didn’t come from a place of malice.”

Arthur went on to lash out at the cliquey housemates in this year’s series of the show, adding: “Every year Big Brother has a ‘cool group’ consisting of the young, good looking models.

“They treat the rest of us as their inferiors and that infuriated me!

“One of my biggest fears in the house was how I was being perceived from the outside.”

Arthur had been involved in a string of arguments with his housemates since entering the house last Monday, eventually having enough and deciding to walk away on Sunday afternoon.

Aisleyne got to the bottom of Arthur’s shock departure.

The contestant’s full exit was shown during Monday’s episode of the show but viewers were left fuming when no reason for Arthur’s departure was giving – with many demanding answers.

Aisleyne herself tweeted her dismay at not being given the full story behind Arthur’s decision, which is why she personally sought him out to report the full story.
