Big Brother unveils nominations with a big twist

Big Brother 2023 spoilers follow.

Big Brother has unveiled this week's nominations — and it's another double eviction.

Housemates were supposed to be nominating face-to-face this week, but with rising tension inside the house, producers have opted to go for traditional nominations instead.

In Wednesday's episode (November 8), Big Brother confirmed that Chanelle (four nominations), Olivia (three nominations), Noky (three nominations), Trish (three nominations) and Jenkin (automatically up for nomination) will face the public vote on Friday night (November 10).

Viewers already knew Jenkin would be among those facing eviction this week, as he was on the losing end of a Hunger Games-themed task that aired over the weekend.

This week featured Yinrun receiving her first-ever nomination from another housemate when Chanelle criticised her for crying after having to nominate Jenkin in the Hunger Games task.

Five housemates on the block for Friday's live eviction specials is a record high for this series — and further illustrates a divide inside the house.

This week's nominations were also impacted by yet another rule break where Olivia and Chanelle spoke about nominations despite Jenkin begging them to stop.

As a result, Chanelle had her immunity stripped by Big Brother and Olivia was banned from nominating at all this week.

As a result of her second rule break, Olivia was forced to write the phrase "I must not break the rules" a whopping 600 times.

Olivia first broke the rule early in the series when she used a secret code to discuss nominations with fellow housemate Hallie.

Big Brother airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX. Each episode is followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
