The ‘biggest electronic musical festival in Essex’ with over 100 DJs and live acts

New World Festival, slated to be the biggest electronic music event in Essex, comes to the county this August Bank Holiday weekend. The event is due to take place in Kings Farm, Chelmsford, next to Hylands Park, the venue for the iconic Creamfields South and V Festival.

Taking place on August 24 and 25, this year’s edition promises to be the biggest electronic music festival in Essex this summer. Over a hundred DJs and live acts from across dance music genres will perform to thousands each day, all carefully curated by big-name club brands including Ministry Of Sound, Cream, ABODE, Lovejuice and Worried About Henry. The club brands are joined by big names such as Andy C, DJ EZ, Sub Focus, Sammy Virji, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Artful Dodger, Sam Divine, and many more.

Headliners for New World Festival 2024 include the Essex homecoming of drum & bass pioneer Andy C who grew up in the Hornchurch/Upminster area plus UK Garage legend DJ EZ, much loved UK live acts Example, Romeo & Lisa Maffia and house favourites Sam Divine, Roger Sanchez & Todd Terry. Performers alongside them include the biggest current club names including Dimension, Sammy Virji, Low Steppa plus TikTok & Instagram sensation Fish56Octagon and many more.

There will now also be a small slice of Glastonbury Festival joining proceedings in Chelmsford with the distinctive stage and canopy of The Glade coming to New World Festival 2024. A mainstay at Glastonbury since 2000, The Glade stage famously hosted Example last year attracting one of their largest ever crowds so it feels very apt that he will be one of the headliners performing this August Bank Holiday weekend.

Weekend tickets for the two-day festival have now completely sold out, as have first and second release day tickets. Third-release day tickets are just £39.50 each, making New World Festival one of the most reasonably priced festivals this summer.
