Biker dies in A146 crash

A man in his 50s has died after a car and a motorbike crash near Beccles.

The collision happened at 3.30pm on Thursday on the A146 at Stockton and involved a silver Suzuki GSXS 1000 motorcycle and a white Toyota Auris.

The biker, a man in his 50s, died at the scene.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services were at the crash site and drivers were advised to avoid the area.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any relevant dashcam footage.

It marks the third death on Norfolk's roads this week after a man in his 20s died on Tuesday following a crash at Emneth and a Subaru driver was killed in Diss on Wednesday.
