Biker killed in crash near Ashford

A motorcyclist has been killed following a crash involving a car near Ashford on Thursday, June 20. The incident took place in Boughton Aluph at around 8.55pm.

At this time, a red Jaguar E-Pace was travelling south along the A251 Faversham Road, when it was involved in a collision with a green Triumph motorcycle being ridden in the opposite direction away from Kennington. Officers from Kent Police and crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the incident.

Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the motorcyclist, a man aged in his fifties, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are now urging anyone who saw what happened or who has dashcam footage from the area during the time of the collision to come forward.
