Jodie Comer has been hailed a true Scouser as she shared her perfect way to spend a day in Liverpool.

The 31-year-old's latest film, The Bikeriders, arrived in UK cinemas yesterday. The Killing Eve star has adopted a Chicago accent for her role as Kathy and has won acclaim for her performance in the 1960s set crime drama.

In an interview with British Vogue, Jodie lifted the lid on how she would spend 24 hours in Liverpool with her co-stars, Austin Butler and Tom Hardy. She said: "I'd have to take them to my mum's for a roast dinner because my mum does the best roast.

"Then I was thinking a walk on the Albert Dock, maybe The Cracke up by Hope Street. They have a little jukebox in there, it's very stripped back."

Jodie was in stitches after she was asked if the night would end in The Blue Angel nightclub. She said: "I haven't been the Raz for over 11 years.

"I don't know if I want to go back to the Raz, it was always fluorescent drinks and sticky floors but it was glorious at the time. I wouldn't change a thing."

Jodie was asked a similar question by Heart Radio when she was sat alongside Austin. Jodie, who hails from Childwall, once again shared her itinerary for their day in Liverpool, which whet Austin's appetite for when he finally makes it to Jodie's home city.

The Oscar nominated star said: "I'm really missing out that I've never been to Liverpool. Suddenly I feel like my life is a little less vibrant."

Jodie was praised by people on social media after her plans for a perfect day in the city went viral. On X, Tia said: "Taking Austin to her mum's house for Sunday Roast. A night of bar hopping. a true Liverpudlian."
