Yahoo News Latest Black Friday phone contract deals from Tesco Mobile, EE, Vodafone and Sky Mobile
Black Friday is just days away, with bargain hunters gearing up for some pre-Christmas steals.
Following some high profile, and high cost, phone launches over recent weeks, many tech fans will be hoping for some decent price cuts on mobile handsets, while others will look to refresh their phone contacts with some fresh perks and deals.
The biggest discount event of the year kicks off on November 29, meaning it’s time to start keeping your eyes peeled for some early sales.
While the leading mobile service providers are largely keeping their top offers under wraps, we’ve rounded up some of the best already available, as well as some of our predictions for the hot deals ahead.
Shop Tesco Mobile deals:
Tesco Mobile has bucked the trend of keeping Black Friday plans top secret. Instead, it has begun releasing new deals every week as part of its “best ever black Friday.”
This week on its website it is advertising its four top pay monthly offers, which are as follows:
iPhone 8 for £23.49 a month
What’s included: 1GB data, 5000 minutes, 5000 texts.
This represents a saving of £144 compared to its usual package for this model.
Samsung Galaxy Note10 Plus for £37.99 a month
What’s included: 2GB data, 5000 minutes, 5000 texts.
This represents a saving of £144 compared to its usual package for this model.
These four deals will only last until the end of this week - November 17 - with Tesco’s new batch of Black Friday offers released on Monday 18.
Shop EE deals:
EE promises on its website that some “mega deals” are on the way, but rather than hint at what they might include, the provider urges customers to submit their email address to be “the first to know” when they drop.
“Get ready for exclusive offers on phones, tablets, SIM only plans and more,” it states.

Shop Sky Mobile deals:
Sky mobile is keeping its Black Friday plans well and truly hidden in the run-up to the main event, telling customers to return to its dedicated offers page on the day.
However, we know from previous years that Sky Mobile tends to give major discounts to Sky TV customers, last year offering the latest iPhone model - the iPhone XS - at £10 less per month than its usual asking price.
It also offered the iPhone SE from as little as £20 a month for Black Friday, along with 15GB of data and unlimited calls and texts.
While we can’t guarantee that the much-coveted iPhone 11 and 11 Pro will be subject to Black Friday price cuts, it’s highly likely older models will hit the sales.
Shop Vodafone deals:
Again, Vodafone is working hard to keep its Black Friday deals secret and, again, it’s urging customers to register their interest for updates on its website.
However, for customers who are “too excited to wait”, its dedicated page also links to some nice perks available right now. Currently these are:
Huawei Mate 20 Pro for £36 a month + £29 upfront

Plus a free Huawei Watch GT in black worth £179.
This offer is available from December 31 via the Huawei website.
Sony Xperia 5 for £56 a month + £9 upfront
What’s included: Unlimited data, unlimited minutes, unlimited texts.
Plus a free PS4 gaming console complete with FIFA 20 game.
Other hot phone tips and predictions ahead of Black Friday
Two-for-one offers
If you and a friend or family member are looking to get new phones, you could snap up a two-for-one offer.
A number of providers offered these last year along with substantial savings on handsets and packages.
5G offers
EE and Vodafone will be the ones to watch when it comes to 5G offers.
Deals will be limited given how new the technology is, but you could find a decent phone with 5G and 30-60GB data at a slightly reduced price.
