Blackford calls High Court verdict a 'democratic outrage'

Ian Blackford has said the High Court decision to allow ITV to go ahead a host the two-candidate debate between Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn is a "democratic outrage". He called on Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn to "do the right thing", adding "they debate in parliament on a weekly basis". The SNP's Westminster Leader also raised concerns over the importance of the ITV debate adding "there is irrefutable academic evidence that the first debate in any Westminster election campaign is the one that leads to many people..making their minds up on how to vote".
