'Bloody' Dolls Thrown at White House During Protest Calling for Gaza Ceasefire
Protesters threw “bloody” baby dolls at the White House following a protest calling for a ceasefire in Gaza attended by hundreds of thousands in Washington on Saturday, January 13.
Footage recorded by @codepink, a feminist grassroots organization whose members participated in March 4 Gaza, shows the toys being thrown at the White House gates.
“Right now after the #March4Gaza, protestors are hurling bloody baby dolls at the White House,” CODEPINK wrote.
CODEPINK also released a photo of the dolls lined up against a banner reading: “Biden, blood on your hands”.
Organizers estimated that 400,000 people took part in the National March 4 Gaza on Saturday.
Protesters had been bussed in from dozens of cities ahead of the march.
According to local media citing officials, two people were arrested for assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct during the protest. Credit: @codepink via Storyful
