A children's festival featuring TV presenters, characters and musical tribute acts is taking place near Manchester this summer.

Gloworm, Gilbert's Big Day Out, is one of three back-to-back events taking place at Walton Hall and Gardens in Warrington this June.

We revealed earlier how it kicks off with the Could Be Real Tribute Festival on Friday, June 21, with acts including The Oasis Experience, Attic Monkeys, Sham Fender, The Cheatles and more.

On Saturday, June 22, it's Daresbury Festival, featuring the likes of Soul II Soul, Craig Charles, K-Klass live featuring Bobbi, Allister Whitehead and Rowetta.

Gloworm, featuring a host of activities for families, will then take place on the final day - Sunday, June 23 - and promises 'an unforgettable day of laughter, music, and entertainment'.

The line-up includes CBeebies personality Maddie Moate, CBBC's Nigel Clarke and the legendary Paul Chuckle and his Chuckle Vision Party.

There'll be tributes to chart-topping sensations Dua Lipa and Coldplay, entertainment from Sublime Science and Jo Jingles, and for little ones, there'll be the chance to come face to face with dinosaurs and their trainers and to meet and greet the popular Aussie dog Bluey as well as other characters including superheroes and princesses.

The event will also feature Rugby Tots and Pop Up Play Village, which lets youngsters role play as everything from a firefighter or builder, to a chef or a police officer.

Festival director Richard Walpole said: "We are thrilled to welcome Paul Chuckle and his Chuckle Vision Party to Gloworm Festival at Walton Hall and Gardens. Paul's iconic comedy and timeless appeal make him the perfect addition to our line-up, and we know that families of all ages will be delighted by his performance.
