Body Coach Joe Wicks offers to be 'the nation’s PE teacher'
Joe Wicks has offered to become “the nation’s PE teacher” after the coronavirus pandemic led to schools being closed.
The fitness guru – aka The Body Coach – posted a video on social media saying that he would be providing daily workouts aimed at children, assuring fans: “Don’t worry, I’ve got you, I’m going to take this over.”
The star said the 30-minute sessions were aimed at everyone from small children to secondary school pupils.

“I’ve got an exciting announcement to make,” he said.

“It’s a workout specifically designed for kids because when the schools are closed there is no PE.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got you, I’m going to take this over.”
Wicks, 33, continued: “I’m going to get your kids moving. Feeling energised, positive, optimistic.
“So, tune in Monday morning 9am and every day, Monday to Friday,.
“It’s a 30-minute session for little kids right up to secondary school.”
Wicks said the workouts would involve a lot of “basic exercises” and that those taking part did not need much room.
“I’m going to take care of it, I’m really looking forward to this,” he said.
Asking people to share the video far and wide, he said: “This is happening, I am going to be the nation’s PE teacher.”
Wicks has two children with his wife Rosie – daughter Indie and son Marley.
