Boris Johnson Takes Part in Nationwide Applause to Support NHS Workers

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson appeared in front of 10 Downing Street on the evening of March 26 to take part in the nationwide clapping campaign to thank medical workers responding to the UK’s COVID-19 outbreak.

This video was posted on Boris Johnson’s official Twitter account. It shows him emerge from 10 Downing Street to clap in unison with Rishi Sunak, Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The UK has recorded at least 578 deaths from complications of COVID-19. At least 11,658 Britons have tested positive for the virus.
