I bought the Morrisons £10 meat pack shoppers say you get 10 meals from

We're used to seeing supermarket deals aren't we and some are certainly better than others. When I heard that Morrisons is selling a £10 meat pack, which shoppers are saying they've got 10 meals from, I was obviously keen to pick one up.

There was a huge board advertising them in store when I arrived at the Leigh branch on Tuesday night and they've clearly been popular as there were only around three packs left in the fridge.

The supermarket has sold them before, but this time they're back as part of its 125th anniversary celebrations and they're only around until June 30 so you'll have to be quick to snap one up.

I have to say the contents of the pack are pretty impressive. You get four burgers, 600g of lean pork loin, 400g of chuck steak 'perfect for grilling or pan-frying', and six sausages.

When you think a pack of Morrisons burgers can set you back around £4 on their own and a smaller 400g pack of pork loin joints costs £4.25, then you're making a pretty big saving overall.

Families have previously raved about the product on social media, saying they've had up to 10 meals from the pack. While I'm pretty sure they don't mean 10 family meals - you'd struggle to stretch it that far - it'll certainly feed four of us a good few dishes.

We'll be having the burgers for one tea and I'll probably do a pork stir fry another night. The sausages will probably end up on breakfast barms.

If you're planning a barbecue this weekend, it's a great option for that too. Whatever you buy one for, I can't see anyone being disappointed with it that's for sure.

Morrisons says it's worked closely with British farmers for 125 years, each product is carefully selected by Morrisons Market Street Butchers and is freshly prepared each day in stores for customers to grab.
