Bournemouth barbers win big at national awards

A BOURNEMOUTH barbers have won big at a national awards following ‘booming’ business since its opening four years ago.

HAUS, based in Gervis Place, has claimed the best client experience at the Modern Barber Awards 2024.

The event, held on June 23, recognised the best businesses and individuals in the barbering industry.

Nearly 300 leader barber industry figures gather in London to celebrate the finalists and winners.

HAUS barbers came out on top as shop manager, Alan, collected its award.

Due to train cancellations HAUS owner, Ryan Bartholomew, was not able to be there on the night.

However, HAUS shared on social media its team was “absolutely buzzing” they were chosen and added they were “over the moon”.

Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of the Professional Beauty Group, hosted the ceremony alongside Sian Jones, editor of Modern Barber magazine.

“Events such as this are vital to the barbering community so that we can celebrate its growth and recognise the innovation and skills of our finalists,” said Sian.

“Every year the entries continue to set new standards of creativity and excellence which just goes to show that barbering continues to be an industry on the rise.”
