Boxes and Debris Blown Along Cork Street on 'Blustery Auld Night'

Large boxes, bins, and other items were sent flying down a street in Cork, Ireland, in the early hours of March 23, as the area was hit by powerful gusts on what one local pub called a “blustery auld night”.

Tom Barry’s pub, on Barrack Street, posted this CCTV footage showing the wind’s dramatic impact.

Local outlet Cork Beo posted footage showing the street closed off and damage to buildings the morning after. Credit: Tom Barrys Cork via Storyful
