Boy, 17, arrested after delivery driver in 60s carjacked

A TEENAGER has been arrested after a delivery driver was carjacked in Tipton.

A delivery driver in his 60s was confronted by a group of people with masks on in Bayleys Lane at around 8.30am on June 3.

He was punched in his face and knocked to the ground as his keys and vehicle were taken.

Following enquiries police said today (Tuesday June 25) they had acted on information and had arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of robbery.

He has been taken into custody for questioning.
