The Chase fans were quick to spot a blunder Bradley Walsh made during the latest instalment.

Bradley, 63, welcomed four new players to the ITV studio on Monday with Jennifer, Martin, Megan and Adam, taking on one of the UK's biggest brains. While they had never met before, they were working as a team to go against Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess.

Jennifer was up first and after answering five questions correctly in her cash-builder, she took the middle offer for a potential £5,000. Sadly she was caught and went home empty-handed.

Martin was up next, also answering five questions correctly to begin with. He made it back to the team with £5,000.

Third up was Megan, who managed to get just one right answer in her cash-builder. The Governess gave her a choice of playing for £500, £1,000 or £4,000, and Megan took the low offer.

And when it came to going head-to-head with the Chaser, host Bradley mistakenly offered her more money. He said: "Correct answer to go through with five grand is...", despite Megan only playing for £500.

Fans watching at home noticed his blunder and took to X, formerly Twitter, to comment. Angie said: "5 grand Brad???"

Bas said: "Nowhere near five grand after the low offer!" Tom said: "Not quite five grand".

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITVX
