The Days of Our Lives actor, 43, and his wife Isabella welcomed their first baby together, son Joaquin Lee Barash, on Friday, Sept. 15, Barash revealed on Instagram Friday. He weighed 7 lbs., 0.5 oz. and measured 19.5 inches long at birth.

"Joaquin Lee Barash arrived on the planet on 9.15.23. A mighty name for a mighty boy...to honor my (departed but never gone) father, Jerry Lee Barash, as well as my wife's Hispanic heritage," the actor wrote in his caption.

"We. Are. Smitten...and forever changed. Through your birth, lil man, we are reborn. Our family is mightier, our ocean of love runs deeper and more fierce. School's back in session."

Barash is already dad to 9-year-old daughter Harper, whom he shares with former General Hospital costar and ex Kirsten Storms.

The star and wife Isabellla announced they were expecting their first baby together in May, sharing the exciting news on Instagram. In the photo, Barash put a hand on his wife's baby bump while Harper smiled beside the couple and their dog.

"In January, our family lost a mother ... and then we gained one," he began, referencing his mother who died in January. "Baby Barash coming to ya, September 2023. The Barash Brood continues to grow. Grateful does not begin to describe. Happy Mother's Day, my queen. 🙏❤️️🍼 #grateful #mothersday."

Barash and Isabella wed in December in a Great Gatsby-inspired ceremony at the North Ranch Country Club in Thousand Oaks, California. Harper served as a flower girl and a junior bridesmaid at the wedding.

The happy couple first met when Isabella was working as a teacher at Harper's school.

In August, Barash posted a carousel of photos to his Instagram after he went on a father-daughter trip with Harper. In the photos, the two smiled together and climbed a rock wall, enjoying special time with just the two of them.

"Special daddy/daughter date day before the newest Lil Barash arrives," he captioned the photos.
