Brian Austin Green labels Ian Ziering a 'beast' after Hollywood drama

Brian Austin Green praised Ian Ziering as a "beast" for fighting off attackers in a Hollywood brawl.

59-year-old actor Ian - who is best known for playing Steve Sanders on TV series 'Beverly Hills, 90210' - was attacked by a group of bikers in Hollywood at the weekend and in video obtained by TMZ, can be seen being chased across the road by a number of the riders.

His former co-star Brian posted a video on Instagram, where he said: "Hey so I didn’t get a chance to get into this at all. My boy Ian Ziering got into a fistfight on Hollywood Boulevard with like five dudes, and like beat them, did it, did his thing.

"He’s a monster. He’s incredibly fit, obviously. I would not suggest, to anyone, to fight people, especially not now in this climate.

"But, you know what? All turned out well. Z, I love you, brother, you’re a beast, good on you."

Ian - who was with his 12-year-old daughter at the time of the incident - also posted about it on Instagram.

He wrote: "He wrote on Instagram: "Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes. While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself."

Fortunately, Ian and Mia were "both completely unscathed", but the incident has left the actor "deeply concerned" about a "larger issue of hooliganism" on the streets.

He added: "I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace.

"This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient.

"I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety. We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences.

"I am thankful for the support of my family, friends, and fans during this time. It’s in challenging moments like these that the strength and unity of our community are most vital. Happy new year. (sic)"

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Southern California TV station KTLA that police officers responded to Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue around 3pm on Sunday after "reports of a fight that broke out after the group of bikers were driving recklessly".
