Brian Blessed claims he met his dead brother reincarnated in the body of a young boy

Brian Blessed has claimed that he met the reincarnation of his dead brother in the body of a young Canadian boy.

The actor was left devastated when his brother Alan passed away in 2001, with the Dalai Lama telling him whilst Alan was terminally ill with leukaemia that he will come back as a fisherman’s son.

Buddhists believe that everything is reincarnated into something else once they die.

Opening up to Event magazine, 80-year-old Brian shared: “He [the Dalai Lama] said: ‘When he dies you will see him again as a little boy in Halifax, Novia Scotia.

“‘He loves fishing. He will become a fisherman.'”

Brian went on to reveal that five years after Alan’s death he met a young boy while filming in Novia Scotia in 2006.

He continued: “My brother had been dead for five years. And there he was, with a Canadian accent, looking exactly as he had looked when he was a little boy.

“The boy’s father was a fisherman. I was very excited.”

In spite of his excitement, Brian opted not to tell the child who he was, adding: “I couldn’t say: ‘You’re my brother.’ One felt one couldn’t say that.

“But the boy liked me immensely. That was a comfort to me.

“No one dies.”
