A children's nursery has been purchased by a growing company.

Home From Home in New Church Road, Hove, was bought by nursery group iStep Learning this year.

The facility, which is in a converted Victorian property, is now part of the group's network, which also includes Footsteps Day Nursery in Hove.

The acquisition comes just a year after iStep Learning formed as a result of the merger of companies The Nursery Family and Bambinos Childcare Centres.

Dianne Lumsden-Earle, chief childcare and operations officer at iStep, said: "Home From Home is exactly the kind we want to work with – they are providing excellent outcomes for the children, and we hope to help them continue to do so and even improve.

“The nursery has a brilliant reputation and I would like to thank the previous owners for allowing us to be part of its bright future.”

The company also owns the three Little Explorers Day Nurseries in Burgess Hill and Crawley.
