Bristol City academy product Harry Leeson will make his second appearance for Bishop's Cleeve against Cheltenham Town in Friday night's friendly at Kayte Lane (7.45pm).

The 20-year-old former Gloucester City loanee scored in the Mitres' 5-1 friendly win over Slimbridge on Tuesday night, making an instant impression after going on in an unfamiliar left-back role.

He is a right-back by trade and has represented Wales at Under-21 level.

Leeson was named on the bench for several Championship fixtures, but did not make his senior debut for Bristol City before departing Ashton Gate this summer.

Former Cheltenham and Coventry City prospect Aaron Evans-Harriott also scored against Slimbridge and will also play against the League Two Robins.

Ethan Dunbar (2) and Isaac Pearce were the other scorers for Paul Collicutt's side against the Swans.

Two of Collicutt's new signings will miss out on the chance to face Cheltenham.

Defender Mat Liddiard is away on his stag do, while midfielder Joe Turley had already committed to spending the weekend at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix before he agreed to re-join Cleeve from Cirencester Town.

Forward Marley Thomas, who played under Collicutt at Evesham United, has been training with Cleeve and featured against Slimbridge.

The Mitres are also having a look at 16-year-old midfielder Bryan Smalley from Cheltenham Saracens Under-18s.
