The new series of Britain's Got Talent might only be a few days old but experts claim to have already identified the likely winners, with one of the three Golden Buzzer acts picked so far being the ones to beat.

Seventeen years after it made its debut on ITV, BGT was back on Saturday night, as judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli cast their first glance at the acts vying for 2024 glory. Within just one episode of the hit show's return, two Golden Buzzers had been hit, with Amanda pressing it for singer Sydnie Christmas and Ant and Dec sending taekwondo group Ssaulabi through to the forthcoming semi finals..

And, by the time Sunday's Britain's Got Talent was over, as third act had been given a guaranteed place in the live shows, as Alesha Dixon hit the Golden Buzzer for inspirational singing group Ravi's Dream. Prior to delivering a moving rendition of A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman, eight-year-old Ravi revealed he'd been diagnosed with a brain tumour, explaining that the choir was made up of his family, friends, health professionals who helped him and other children who's battled brain cancer.

Having impressed Alesha, R|avi's Dream are regarded by betting experts Gambling.com as the clear frontrunners for victory, with them currently on 2/1 in the latest odds.

Behind them in second place in the betting is Sydnie, who has been viewed as a rather 'controversial' Golden Buzzer pick by some fans, after the discovery that she already has a career in musicals, having appeared in shows like Grease and Starlight Express. She is currently on 11/4, with Ssaulabi in third on 7/1
