Britain's Got Talent Winner Magician Richard Jones Lands West End Show

Let’s be honest, it’s been a pretty great year for Lance Corporal Richard Jones.

The star became the first ever magician to win Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, nabbing himself a spot at the Royal Variety Performance as well as a cool £250,000, and now he has been announced as a guest star in West End magic show ‘Impossible’.

Richard will join a whole host of other magicians and illusionists at the Noel Coward Theatre from July 8th to August 27th this year, and we’re willing to bet that even Simon Cowell will be popping along to show his support.

Speaking about his new gig, Richard shared: “The past few weeks have been such a whirlwind! It is truly a dream come true to have won Britain’s Got Talent and now to be joining Impossible, in the heart of the West End, with such brilliant magicians… It is something I have always dreamt of.”

The show’s producer Jamie Hendry added: “Having watched him wow the judges and audiences on Britain’s Got Talent, I knew he’d be a wonderful addition to our show and I’m delighted to make his dreams come true by casting him in a starring role in the West End!”

The show will also feature tricks from the world’s greatest illusionists and is welcoming cast members Josephine Lee, Sabine Van Diemen, and Magical Bones.

Thrill-seekers should expect to witness some of the most incredible death-defying stunts, trickery, illusions, as well as close-up magic in the fast-paced performances that reinvent some of the biggest tricks in history to create what has been dubbed “the greatest magic show on earth”.

Congratulations to Richard on the new gig; we can’t wait to see him in action.
