Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn pulled out of a scheduled interview on Lorraine at the last minute.

The comedian walked away as the series champion over the weekend, beating dancer Lillianna Clifton and magician Cillian O'Connor to claim the £250k prize and a slot at the Royal Variety Show.

Viggo was due to appear on today's (June 6) Lorraine for a chat with the host, though the presenter revealed during the programme that he was not well enough.

"Viggo was supposed to be joining me in the studio this morning but unfortunately he's not feeling too chipper. But hopefully we'll see him later on," she said.

Speaking over a clip of the comedian on Britain's Got Talent, Lorraine then added: "Look at the energy of the man! He needs a wee rest. We'll talk to him soon."

After his win was announced over the weekend, Viggo said: "I won not only the heart of Britain, but also the heart of Simon [Cowell]. Thank you to everybody who voted for me."
