Brooke Vincent has told fans 'I needed this' as she was seen taking time out for herself amid a busy period of balancing her home life and career. The actress hasn't shied away from sharing her feelings about being apart from her two sons while taking on her latest role.

She made her stage debut earlier this year in the late Kay Mellor’s final stage play, The Syndicate. Based on the BBC One show of the same name, the play tells the story of five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in just as their jobs and livelihoods are under threat.

But Brooke has been feeling all the emotions as she spends periods of time away from her two sons, Mexx and Monroe, who she shares with her fiancé Kean Byran, and has been seen trying to spend extra time at home where she can.

But it appears the 32-year-old has decided that there's something she needs to do for herself and shared how she'd enjoyed a sweaty gym session with some gal pals. In the clip, Brooke was seen getting her measurements before getting cracking with a series of weight-based moves.

"I NEEDED THIS," the former Coronation Street star started the caption of her post. "As you know I’ve been so chaotic this year, literally this whole year, I looked back on the months and couldn’t remember the last time I made it to the gym!! I think like most Mums I always think about 'other' stuff that needs doing and with working away, so much my time at home is literally resetting, preparing and washing and being with Kean and the Boys.

"BUT holidays are coming up and I’m not going to lie I’ve missed those endorphins!! I forever will have a love/hate relationship with the gym but I’ve never regretted a workout!! We are here every weekend with the boys for swimming but coming to bootcamp with the girls and having a laugh whilst we train is a different kind of self care @villagegym."

Brooke, who shot to fame playing Sophie Webster in ITV's Corrie, then laughed as she added: "P.s I’m 5’5 if you’re wondering. P.P.S YES! I talk through the whole session and YES! I consider it a superpower."

But former footballer Kean was quick to respond, writing: "Not seen you since 2022," alongside a crying laughing emoji before Brooke replied with an unamused face emoji.

Others, however, were quick to support Brooke's efforts. Gemma Atkinson replied with a string of clapping emojis while nail artist and educator Corrine Jackson said: "Well done doll." Emmerdale's Laura Norton posted: "Boss."

@nigelhami replied: "You seemed to have smashed it from where I am." @arranjwsmith wrote: "U go girl." @katherine_cotter echoed: "You go girl!" @kathy.jones1608 commented: "Always good to see you, you are always laughing." @globucs.bill_glos_travels_ added: "Makes me tired just watching you lol keep going ,you look fab."
