Brothers celebrate Gloucester tyre and MOT business success

The Baig brothers who set up Next Wheels and Tyres in Gloucester during lockdown, have gone on to win an award and open another business in the city. The business has continued to grow along with its positive reputation, and many jobs have also been created in the process.

Brothers Azmat Baig, 39, Sahab Baig, 35, and Fargham Baig did not anticipate in only three years, the business would win 'Top Tyres and Wheel Service 2024'. The award was given by the national Business Awards UK, and the company triumphed pitching other businesses from across the country to post for the prestigious prize.

The company feels Next Wheels and Tyres has evolved into a symbol of dependability and customer confidence. The company offers a wide range of automotive services, covering wheel refurbishment, MOTs, servicing, repairs, mobile fitting, and much more.

Marketing Director, Azmat spoke on the company’s success: “I'm extremely proud that we have gone from humble beginnings with just us brothers and with the business growing, we employ over 20 dedicated staff members from the local Gloucestershire area. Next Wheels and Tyres is located at 231 Bristol Road in Gloucester. The comapny has over 500 five-star reviews across Google and Facebook, and has established itself as a leading automotive business in the Gloucestershire area and beyond.

One year after opening its doors in 2021, the business expanded to acquire Discount Tyres MOT Centre on Upton Street, Gloucester - a well-known repair garage that has operated for over forty years - Gloucester’s oldest autocentre.

In October 2023, Next Wheels and Tyres underwent rigorous audits to successfully become an AA-approved Repair Centre, expanding their clientele to include AA members.
