The Brothers Sun just dropped on Netflix and if you're anything like us, you've already binge-watched the whole thing already and can't wait for a second season.
The eight-part action-comedy follows a Taiwanese crime family who are thrown into chaos when a mysterious assassin attacks, and the younger brother – who had no idea about the truth of his family – has to step up.
So, will we see more of Eileen, Bruce, Charles? Here is everything you need to know about The Brothers Sun season two.

What is The Brothers Sun about?
The official synopsis for the Netflix series reads, "When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, legendary killer Charles "Chairleg" Sun (Justin Chien) heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), and his naive younger brother, Bruce (Sam Song Li) — who’s been completely sheltered from the truth of his family until now.
"But as Taipei’s deadliest societies and a new rising faction go head-to-head for dominance — Charles, Bruce and their mother must heal the wounds caused by their separation and figure out what brotherhood and family truly mean before one of their countless enemies kills them all."
Will there be a The Brothers Sun season 2?
We're not sure yet. Netflix have not confirmed a second season, but series creators Byron Wu and Brad Falchuk have already expressed an interest in another series.
"The end of the season is a happy moment for the family, but when you’re living as a gangster, you can never truly relax," Wu and Falchuk told Netflix's Tudum. "And Big Sun is not an enemy that accepts defeat easily."
Executive producer and director Kevin Tancharoen added, "This is actually just the first step in a longer journey." Stay tuned for more updates!
Who might be The Brothers Sun season 2 cast?
We would expect lots of the main cast to return for a second season, including:

As for Bruce and Charles' dad, Johnny Kou's Big Sun, he is in hospital but is very much alive despite being prescribed a dangerous amount of insulin by Eileen. Could this mean he may return, too?
Other characters, such as Jon Xue Zhang's Blood Boots, Jenny Yang's Xing and Madison Hu's Grace Hwang, met a pretty brutal fate in season one thanks to the Boxers, Eileen and June respectively, so they won't be returning.
What might the plot of The Brothers Sun season 2 be?
In the final episode, we see Eileen, Charles and June go back to Taipei, Taiwan while Bruce stays in Los Angeles, US. So, a potential second season could see us follow the Jade Dragons under Mama Sun's leadership.
Creators Wu and Falchuk say that "the Sun family will struggle to maintain those clearly defined roles," with director Tancharoen adding: "What they have right now, this unity, is very fragile."
Also, a post-credits scene, we Big Sun’s right-hand man, Yuan, told by a mysterious man that the police have hidden Frank Ma — who has a valuable testimony against the other Triad family heads.
Then, Yuan laughs as he’s told Frank Ma won’t be found before the criminal trial. Erm, we need an explanation for this!
