Bruce Springsteen Belfast stage and gate times for Boucher Road Playing Fields show

The excitement is growing ahead of the Boss' return to Belfast this week.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are set to rock the Boucher Road Playing Fields in South Belfast on Thursday, May 9.

Aiken Promotions, promoters of the show, say the 74-year-old superstar is particularly looking forward to be back in Belfast for the first time since 2013 given his wife's family connections in East Belfast.

Some of Springsteen's wife Patti's roots can be traced back to family from the Cregagh Road area of the city, with the Boss having visited during his last trip to Belfast.

With the sold-out show attracting thousands of fans to the Boucher Road on Thursday, you may be wondering when Springsteen is set to take to the stage and if he has support on tour.

The Boucher Road Playing Fields will open at 5pm.

There is no support act for his gig in Belfast. It will begin when Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band take to the stage at 7pm sharp.
