Yahoo News Buffy's Alyson Hannigan shares her connection to This Is Us
Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Alyson Hannigan has revealed that she has a really random connection to This Is Us.
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM's The Michelle Collins Show, the Willow Rosenberg actor informed the eponymous host, and the broadcast's listeners, that she and her husband Alexis Denisof (Angel) regularly rent out their LA home to the time-hopping family drama.
"I think my house's resume is probably longer than mine," she joked, explaining that when they first moved into the West Coast property, they learned that it was a favourite amongst local film and TV productions, and vowed to keep it private as they know from experience how reckless some crews can be. But, well, they wound up changing their minds.

"I would say at least twice a month, [we] get requests because the house is just known. And it turned out, our neighbour was the director, and we were like, 'If we are ever going to do it, we would do it for that show because it's so good' and… long-running shows, the crews are always very respectful," Hannigan said.
"Not only did they give us our house back in wonderful shape, they fixed things that I had damaged," she laughed, talking about the upsides of their U-turn.
"So they were touching up some paint or whatever, and there was clearly, like, one of my kids' handprints on a wall, and they're like, 'Would you like us to do that as well?' And I'm like, 'I know that wasn't from you, but yeah, thank you!'

"So they fixed damage that I had done," she continued.
"We've got a lot of wood or whatever, but you can't tape anything to it or it takes some of the stain off, and I didn't know that on my first Halloween, and I taped to this beautiful door. I forever see, like, little tape marks. No, they fixed that too! I was like 'You guys!'"
Following the interview, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that the real-life residence doubles as Kevin Pearson's (Justin Hartley) remote gaff, the future home Rebecca (Mandy Moore) encourages him to build in memory of Jack (Milo Ventimiglia), which has been seen in multiple flashforward sequences across the last few seasons.
