The owner of a specialty coffee shop has revealed the location of a third site will be Ruddington. There are already two branches of Butler's Coffee House in Rushcliffe.

The newest coffee shop will open in a former apartment letting agency on the corner of High Street and Kirk Lane once transformation is complete. As well as coffee, the business revolves around brunch, lunch and cakes.

Proprietor Mel Seaman said: "It’s funny how things turn out as we very nearly started our journey here in Rudd back in 2017 when we were originally hunting for sites, it’s a place very close to our hearts.

"With a vibrant small business community, the fantastic events on the village green plus Rushcliffe Country Park on the doorstep it truly is a special place. In fact the whole borough of Rushcliffe is dotted with these amazing places to live and work and we feel privileged to be able bring our chilled speciality coffee house vibe to enhance these bustling high streets. So now the real work begins, stay tuned and we’ll keep you posted as the site evolves."

The first Butler's Coffee House opened in Union Street, Bingham, in 2017, before expanding to Main Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent in 2022. Previously Mel ran The Chestnut pub in Bingham for six years.
