B*Witched star Keavy Lynch pregnant with twins

B*Witched star Keavy Lynch has revealed she is pregnant with twins.

The 40-year-old Irish singer is best known for number one hit C’est La Vie with girlband B*Witched, which also featured her twin sister Edele.

Keavy revealed on Instagram: “So I have been pretty quiet on here since lock down. For the first 3 months I was feeling pretty rough, shattered and sick all the time. Now we know why. #TwinMum #TwinHavingTwin “#Family #love @nathanielcomer feeling blessed.”

The Blame It On The Weatherman singer married businessman Nathaniel Comer in 2017 after two years of dating. They already have a two-year-old daughter Freya together.

Keavy is one of six children and her elder brother is Boyzone star Shane Lynch.

B*Witched released their first single C’est La Vie in 1998 and went on to top the UK singles chart with their next three releases - Rollercoaster, To You I Belong and Blame It On The Weatherman.

Along with twins Keavy and Edele, the girl group was also formed of Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O'Carroll.

The band split in 2002 and Keavy has since opened up on her personal battle with depression and suicidal feelings after they went their separate ways.

She told the Irish Independent in 2011: "I prayed to God that I wouldn't wake up every morning.

"I think people knew I was very down, but I didn't tell anyone the extent of how I felt...

"It was just so hard to get used to normal life. I don't think I knew who I was before I went into B*witched... So, when the band ended, I just didn't know who I was. I got totally lost."

The girl group reformed in 2012 as part of ITV2’s The Big Reunion.
