CAA Promotes Six Employees to Agent and Executive Roles

CAA has upped six employees to agent and executive roles, including Sebastian Brogan, Olivia Brooks, Kaitlin Gascoyne, Ross Lee, Jeff Lynds and Jenna Powell.

Based in New York, Brogan was promoted to agent in the basketball department. He began his CAA career in 2016 as a mailroom clerk, then serving as an assistant to Lloyd Frischer and Tyeke Sullivan in basketball prior to his acceptance into Elevate, CAA’s agency training program, in 2021.

Brooks, who is located in Los Angeles, was promoted to executive in the CAA Foundation, where she will head internal initiatives to increase global employee engagement. Her new role will also see her advise fashion designers, models and digital talent on their philanthropic goals. She began her CAA career in 2018 and was accepted into Elevate in 2023.

Texas-based Gascoyne was promoted to executive in the basketball department. She began her career at CAA Sports in 2018 as an intern in the basketball department. She was then an assistant to Jessica Holtz in 2019 before being accepted into Elevate in 2021. That same year, she was promoted to basketball marketing professional.

Lee, who is based in New York, was promoted to executive in the global client strategy department, focusing on launching businesses for sports clients and traditional talent across the agency. He began his career as a mailroom clerk in 2017 before serving as an assistant to CAA sports chief financial officer Frank Moore and global client strategy head Toby Borg. He was then promoted to global client strategy coordinator in 2022 and accepted into Elevate in 2023.

Based in New York, Lynds was promoted to executive in the basketball department. In this role, he will continue to identify and execute marketing opportunities for CAA’s basketball clients. He began his career at CAA in 2008 as an intern. He moved to Arete Sports Agency and Independence Mission Schools before returning to CAA Sports as a basketball marketing professional in 2021.

Nashville-based Powell was promoted to executive in the corporate communications department, where she will continue to build out communications initiatives and media relations for CAA’s music touring, digital media, theatre and gaming divisions. She joined CAA in 2018 as an assistant to chief communications officer Michael Mand and then named coordinator in 2019 before her promotion to communications manager in 2020.
