Caitlin Clark completed her expensive Prada outfit with more than $10,000 worth of sparkling diamonds
Caitlin Clark attended the 2024 WNBA Draft on Monday and was picked by the Indiana Fever.
On the red carpet, she wore a $17,000 Prada outfit and more than $10,000 worth of John Hardy jewels.
She wore diamond earrings and three bracelets made from silver and gold.
The 2024 WNBA Draft wasn't just about basketball for superstar Caitlin Clark.
The event was also her first foray into the world of fashion, with the 22-year-old athlete sporting a $17,000 Prada outfit and an array of diamond jewelry worth $10,485 on the red carpet.
Her earrings, for example, retail for $1,795 and are made from 18-karat yellow gold with white diamonds in the center.
The John Hardy set also features a unique, hand-carved print that mirrors "the rhythmic action of weaving," according to the brand's website.
Clark also wore three metallic bracelets from the Bali-based jewelry brand to complement the earrings.
They included a $1,195 silver-and-diamond bracelet that takes nine hours to craft, a $995 handmade sterling silver bracelet, and a $6,500 gold cuff embellished with diamonds.
Her jewelry was nearly as expensive as her designer outfit, which included a $3,750 rhinestone mesh crop top, a $5,500 satin blouse, and a $1,750 double satin miniskirt.
Clark also wore a $1,200 pair of black slingback pumps, carried a $4,100 patent leather bag, and sported $575 clear sunglasses — all from Prada.
As Business Insider previously reported, the outfit's price tag — not including her jewelry — is nearly 22% of her expected first-year salary, despite a boom in women's basketball ratings over recent months.
