Yahoo News Caitlyn Jenner doing explosive interview on Lorraine
Lorraine Kelly has confirmed that she's getting "into the nitty gritty" with Caitlyn Jenner in an interview next week.
Speaking on the red carpet for Good Morning Britain's Health Star Awards, Lorraine said of her upcoming interview: "I'm looking forward to that, so many questions.
"I do want to ask her what it was like for all of that time, you know, why did it take her so long [to come out]?
"She was under so much pressure with that profile, being in the Kardashian family, trying to be true to herself, it must have been so, so difficult."
Lorraine went on: "We're gonna do a good 15 minutes with her, and we'll probably do it in two parts.
"It's the most frustrating part of the job – you want to get into the nitty gritty and you've only got five minutes sometimes."
So are any questions off limits? "Not at all!" Lorraine replied."Very rarely do we get that, and to be honest, if we got an interview on the condition we weren't going to talk about so many different things there would be no point!"
Caitlyn's memoir The Secrets of My Life was published yesterday (April 25), on the second anniversary of her groundbreaking ABC primetime interview with journalist Diane Sawyer, in which she publicly spoke about being trans for the first time.
And it's safe to say the Kardashians are not happy with what they read – especially Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner, who has declared she is officially "done" trying to get on with Caitlyn after what was written about her in the memoir.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn has revealed that she once considered suicide before she came out as transgender two years ago.
