California Man Arrested for Impersonating Cop

A man was arrested on several charges including impersonating a peace officer, after his car was pulled over by a deputy with the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

“Did you think this vehicle was an unmarked police vehicle? We would of thought the same too!” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.

The alleged impersonator was pulled over for an expired vehicle registration, whereupon firearms, batons, pepper spray, and methamphetamine were found in the vehicle.

“The suspect was arrested for Impersonating a Peace Officer, Possession of a Baton, Possession of a Concealed Firearm, Possession of Tear Gas, Falsification of Registration, Possession of an Unregistered Firearm, Possession of a Controlled Substance with a Loaded Firearm, and Possession of Methamphetamine,” the sheriff’s office said.
