Yahoo News Calista Flockhart is officially returning to Supergirl
It's not just Superman you can look forward to seeing again in Supergirl's second season – we'll also be welcoming Cat Grant back to the fold.
It's been confirmed by TVLine that Calista Flockhart will be returning to the role of Supergirl's mentor in the final two episodes of the show's current season.
Sadly there aren't any more details available at present, so we don't yet know why the businesswoman is back.
Cat was a regular during Supergirl's first season but Flockhart has only appeared in two episodes of the second run so far.
We saw Cat announce to Kara, AKA Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), earlier in the season that she wanted to try some new things, taking a leave of absence from her work.
Producers said before that they were keen to get Flockhart back on the show, with Andrew Kreisberg explaining: "We're still trying to work out her schedule."
And as mentioned above, we already knew that Tyler Hoechlin would be back as Superman for the season finale, so it looks like Kara will have some friends around her.
Supergirl continues on Mondays at 8pm on The CW in the US (Sky1 in the UK).
