Yahoo News Call My Agent UK axed after one season
The British adaptation of the French hit show Call My Agent! has been axed after just one season.
As reported by Variety, the hit Prime Video comedy series Ten Percent will not be returning for a second season – despite rave reviews among critics.
Its cancellation, according to the publication, is due to a number of behind-the-scenes changes. Those decisions, however, are not yet known.

Debuting on Prime Video last April, Ten Percent features stars such as Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Prasanna Puwanarajah, and Maggie Steed.
The series follows talent agents based in a London agency who are struggling to balance satisfying their clients with keeping the business going after their founder dies.
Its first season attracted a number of famous faces including Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor, The Crown's Emma Corrin, Line Of Duty's Kelly Macdonald, Dominic West and Helena Bonham-Carter.

On the review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes, the show scored a 75% rating overall, with one critic writing: "Ten Percent is an inferior remake of its French inspiration, but a glossy roster of guest stars and budding ensemble chemistry hint that this office comedy can eventually recapture the magic."
The original French series, Dix Pour Cent – translated as Ten Percent – was retitled Call Your Agent! in English, and first premiered in 2015.
Lasting four seasons - three seasons longer than its British successor - it became a worldwide hit on Netflix and turned its cast – namely Camille Cottin and Assaad Bouab – into international stars.
Turning into a full-on franchise, the show spawned remakes across the globe in Spain, Italy, Indonesia, and India.
Ten Percent is available now on Amazon's Prime Video.
