Cameron Boyce's cause of death pending further investigation
Cameron Boyce’s official cause of death is still yet to be determined, despite an autopsy being completed on Monday.
The Disney Channel star of Descendants and Jessie died in his sleep on Saturday aged 20, after suffering a seizure caused by an “ongoing medical condition”.
A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner told Entertainment Tonight that an autopsy was performed on Monday and the cause of death was deferred pending further investigation.
It has been reported that Boyce suffered from epilepsy.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that the Grown Ups actor had recently moved in with fellow actors Karan Brar and Sophie Reynolds. Brar is his co-star in comedy show Jessie and Reynolds is currently appearing in police drama L.A.’s Finest. Brar and Boyce played brothers onscreen.
Brar, 20, shared a post of the three friends on Instagram in May, captioned: “oh and btw we’re roommates now.”
Both of Boyce’s housemates are yet to publicly comment on his death.
His father, Victor Boyce, has thanked fans for the outpouring of tributes to his son on social media since news of his death was announced.

Zendaya is among the stars to have paid their respects to Boyce’s family, calling his death “absolutely heartbreaking”.

Descendants co-star China McClain posted a series of videos on Instagram sharing her grief.
She said: “I’ll never again have a friend like Cameron.”

Boyce was catapulted to stardom playing Cruella De Vil’s son Carlos in the fantasy musical made-for-TV movies Descendants. He is believed to have filmed his part in Descendants 3 which is due for release on the Disney Channel next month.
